What is a cold plunge?

At The Recovery Room, our cold plunge therapy offers a refreshing and invigorating way to boost your body’s natural recovery. A cold plunge involves immersing yourself in chilled water, typically between 39°F–55°F, for a short period of time. This powerful practice has been used for centuries to promote circulation, reduce inflammation, and support overall wellness.

When you step into a cold plunge session at The Recovery Room, you’ll immerse yourself in a temperature-controlled tub for 2–6 minutes. While the initial chill is intense, most people quickly adapt and experience a sense of calm, clarity, and rejuvenation afterward. With consistent practice, your body builds resilience, making each session easier and more rewarding.
